Woah, I just got back home and I’m all worn out! Me and my band just had a practice session for our big day tomorrow, which is the next stage for the music competition we joined the other day. I’m thrilled!
I missed those guys, been ages since I’ve last played with them.. I guess the musician inside of me needed some “luvin” as well!
Anyways, today’s blog post is actually a continuation of yesterday’s post. As you can tell, I’m still constantly searching for “THE” marketing method that best suit my style.
And I think I might have actually found it.
What I’ve Tried So far In Internet Marketing
You see, I’ve done almost everything that you could think of when it comes to Internet Marketing, you might have actually done some of these yourself as well if you’re really committed to the game.
- Solo Ads
- Article Marketing
- Video Marketing
- Pay Per Click campaigns
- Social Media Marketing
- Building An Email List
and probably many more which I may just forget to list.
I haven’t been able to get the results that I desired and instead, most of them gave me a negative Return On Investment (ROI). I am now officially broke!
The Internet Marketing Learning Curve
I’ve realize that learning how to market effectively has a huge learning curve and I’ve just only scratched the surface. Unfortunately, just “scratching the surface” is also not cheap. I need to start holding myself together and re-strategize my plan.
Instead of focusing on “instant gratification” through paid marketing (which I obviously do not have enough resources to maintain anyway), I’ve decided focus on the more organic, community building.
I HAVE to make this work because I’ve reached that point of no turning back.
Actually that’s a lie.
I never gave myself any option to turn back from the day I decide to walk the path of Entrepreneurship. I knew this road was going to be tough but I honestly did not expect it to be this tough.
But fuck it, I’m not weak!
I’ll push myself all the way through even if that means I have to beg on the streets to fund myself to keep going at it.
I remember a quote by Brian Tracy, which should be something similar to this (I’m too lazy to look it up to copy the exact words, but you get the idea):
“Those who succeed are the ones who have failed so many times but still continue to push on”
I KNEW I was going to fail, to be honest I was actually anticipating for these failures to come! Now I know, that I’ve advanced a few steps closer to reaching my goal which is to become a successful Internet Entrepreneur. How could I possibly quit?
Now you might be wondering what is the next step of my “grand plan” to tackle Internet Marketing?
Well, to tell you the truth…
I’m only going to be focusing on blogging and connecting with others, like how I’m expressing my feelings to connect with you right now.. and that’s it.
I’ve decided to stop all this bullshit and let my heart lead the way, and right now my heart is telling me to be okay with exposing myself to the world.
I am no longer going to be a fake “Guru” who acts like he knows everything about Internet Marketing, blogging and all those other stuff when in fact I’ve just only scratched the surface.
Join me on this journey, and let’s unveil the road ahead together. I promise you it’ll be one hell of a ride.
